The background is a sped up version on a 30 minute "jam" with a couple friends.
Imagine being there. creating something with them. Now escape the room. You are in blackness looking in. This blackness is your mind. Have a conversation with yourself while time moves by in 5 minutes rather than 30.

is reflection empty
To a blind person

How many humans
look in the mirror
but can hardly see

you cannot trust yourself
or anyone
but that's ok

just pretend
like we all do

pretend and then forget that you're pretending and pretend again

destroy what you thought was real and then recreate it and then destroy it again

nothing's real
but that's ok

how many times will you look in the mirror, now
do you even want to look

does it matter what you want?
does it?

it never matters and somehow it does to someone somewhere (maybe to yourself) but most of the time it doesn't, really.

a lot of the time you don't know what you want
don't know what you are
you're just pretending again
but that's ok

sometimes it's too much

but then it's there and you don't see it again
it's always there
you just have to look.
